STARTING @ FIRST RACE OF 2010 THIS SUNDAY
I have made a late decision to line up in the first of the Aust Elite Series races this weekend in Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
Form is much better then expected at this stage of the seasons preparation even though I started back training training only after Christmas, much later than past years. After a good 5-6 weeks I am starting to get itchy feet to get a bit of competition so looking forward to the weekends hit-out.
I think if you are doing all that hard training week in week out whats the point if you can’t test the hard work and race!
First main focus for the year is the first round of the World Championships Series in Sydney mid April. So plenty of time to get back to full fitness and improve from now, but for the moment I will concentrate on going as fast as I can on Sunday with what my body can do at the moment.
We are racing after the QLD Gatorade race, so good luck to all racing on Sunday….see you there!
